  Funds for PE Equipment

  Following the exciting and motivating visit from Amy Smith earlier this year  we were able to purchase extra sports equipment for school. Some of this will be used at break and lunch time so the children have access to a wider variety of activities and some is for use in PE lessons. Well done tote whole school for supporting the visit and raising a huge amount for the sports for schools work which contributed £243 to spend on the equipment.

  

• Summer Fayre

  We recently held our Summer Fayre with fantastic stalls and games such as Splat the Teacher, Name the Teddy, Splat the Rat, Cardboard Castle, Lego Swap Shop, Face painting, Tombolas and of course the wonderful cake stalls.
  
  All of these stalls helped create a wonderful atmosphere and helped to raise vital funds for the children of Eureka.  We managed to raise over £850.  A huge thank you to everyone who came to the fayre, those who helped organise, plan and run the fayre and to all the children who came along and had some fun!
  
   

  

• Friendly football match against St Edwards Catholic Primary.

  _{Mrs Mitchell organised a Year 3 and 4 friendly football match against St Edwards Catholic Primary School. Both sides launched themselves into an exciting game with Eureka pushing forward and scoring first.}

  _{Eureka won the match 7 - 0 with Taylor scoring a hat trick.}

  _{A great effort by both sides.}

  _{Thank you to St Edwards for coming to Eureka and a huge 'thank you' goes to Mr Brazier for refereeing.}

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving.
